Yes, it's real!!!

On Thursday the 9th of August, we will be playing at the Clutha in Glasgow for the first time ever! We will have KC Johnston and David Philskirk along for the ride. It's free entry, and it all kicks off at 7.30pm. Get yer arse down there!

What a couple of weeks it has been.

Ok, where was I?

The album is done, and being mastered! Fuck yeah! The artwork is also nearly finished (even though the actual cover has been around since we started recording the thing, there's other bits that still need attention). 

We have handed in our track for NOW That's What Aye Call NHC Music vol.2 - the second of the New Hellfire Club released vinyl-only compilations. This track was recorded specifically for volume 2, and will NOT be available anywhere else.

Simon took part in the Ale-lympics at the New Hellfire Club BYOB Open Day last week, with predictable chaos ensuing. Here's some photos:

We've also just done a location scout for a video for one of the songs on the new album, with shooting scheduled for the 6th of June, which is exciting as fuck! There's other stuff, but you'll have to wait for that..

So.. yeah. That's a quick update of what we've been up to the last couple of weeks, and what's coming up. Keep checking back for more as I remember exactly what it was I was supposed to write in this update.

Two shows down, and it's still all go!

Last week we almost burned down the Poetry Club at SWG3 by officially having the most band members they've ever had on stage at one time with the incredible Juanita Stein, and made the New Hellfire Club shop sway on Saturday with an acoustic show.

This week, we will be mixing the second half of the new album and bringing our own special brand of sparkle and doom to Ivory Blacks on Saturday at the Carnival of the Dark Arts.
